Valparaiseando edited this topic ages ago. Would love to get a 2.8E3 or 2.8F in the future. Hi, Im using a 1969' Rolleiflex T3 with Tessar.

It`s very nice to start using Rollei once again. The camera has been used a lot so it`s not a collector`s item but it works fine and the lenses and the shutter are in excellent condition. I just bought Rollei 3.5 F with 75 mm f/3.5 Planar. I`ve been using several Rolleis during last 40 years. I use a Rolleiflex Standard 622 3.5 from around 1935. I now also have a 2.8c with planar, I just shot my first roll of film with it today. I inherited a MX-EVS about a year ago, I fell in love. They both belonged to my Great Uncle who was a still man in Hollywood for some great movies.
ROLLEIFLEX 2.8 C XENOTAR WITH SCHNEIDERITIS SERIAL NUMBERS
Both with very low serial numbers for their models. I have a Rolleiflex 3.5 MX-EVS II with a Carl Zeiss is in perfect conditionĪccording to an internet side, it was bulit in 1950's.Ī Rolleiflex 2.8C xenotar and 3.5E planar. The I works brilliantly, but the II is kaput. I also have RolleiMagic I and RolleiMagic II. But you best accessory for the Rollei is a CLA by Fleenor or Krikor. Rolleiflex 3.5c Planar I've bought in a pawn shop on 8th Ave in NYC in 1972($60)-and have used it constantly ever since. using FP4 in Rodinal, with it's original yellow filter and lens hood fitted.Īt some point I need to get the mirror re-silvered to improve viewfinder brightness. The old uncoated? Tessar turns out some very nice negs. I have my Father's old 1937 Automat, the one with a bayonet mount on the taking lens and slip on mount for the viewing lens. Love to take snaps of the family with her makes a wonderful stress releif from the digital work Rolleiflex 3.5 xenator of the 59 to 62 vintage

ROLLEIFLEX 2.8 C XENOTAR WITH SCHNEIDERITIS HOW TO
I'm looking for someone who can teach me on how to use this camera. had the 3.5f before, and found it not as easy to use as the old meters are a little temperamental. Rolleiflex 3.5 E2 Type II with carl zeiss planar 75mm lens in very mint conditionĢ.8 e no meter Xenotar lens. Just inherited a 2.8c with Planar, it's amazing! Needs CLA but I'm already dreading having to part with it, even if its temporary -) I shoot with a 2.8a that I picked up for $125 from an antique store. I used to have "Rolleicord V", but I parted with it. Hi, I'm a user of "Rolleiflex 2.8F with Xenotar", "Rolleiflex 2.8C with Planar", Rolleiflex T with Tessar", Rolleiflex Standard with Tessar f3.8" and "Rolleicord Ia Art Deco". Very handy dandy old school analog dial and accurate.Īpparently this model was sold concurrently with the 2.8F. I just use a very compact Sekonic L-208 meter. No selenium cell dying on me, no inaccurate readings with a half a century old meter. Does anyone have any more information about this model or it's metering system? This was the first Rolleiflex with a meter connected to the EV system on the aperture& speed wheels. I just acquired a minty 1959 vintage Rolleiflex model C with 3.5 Planar and a working meter too. Yeah, I really love them too.lusting after a Rolleiflex F2.8.oh well perhaps someday. The colors from this old single coated lens was fantastic! I'm a B&W shooter, but was blown away by my first roll of 800ASA Fuji.

It has nw become my favorite camera and travels with me every where. Yes I was quite surprised at the wonderful quality of Bokeh rendered by my 50's vintage Automat. These fine old cameras yield some surprising results. I use a pair of Rolleicords, one is a V and the other is a Va. I use a Rolleicord va with a Xenar lense circa 1940's Its a great camera but I'm thinking of getting a RolleiflexĪ 1954 Rolleiflex Automat in very fine condition.looking to acquire some B&W filters and lens hood. It's a beater: paint missing, scratched and coating coming off the taking lens. I'm enjoy that 1KG camera around my little neck !!!Īn Automat MX with f/3.5 Zeiss-Opton Tessar, and a 2.8A with Carl Zeiss Jena Tessar.Īn Automat from 1950. I'm using an 3.5 Automat IV in very good condition I am addicted to the Tessar since I had a Rollei 35. Iv just brough a Rolleiflex 2,8 C - Model K7C with a SCHNEIDER-KREUZNACH XENETAR 80mm lense i carnt wate till it gets here !!!! Rolleiflex 3.5F with Schneider Xenotar 3.5/75 lens. I use a 1966 Rolleiflex 2.8F with an 80 mm Carl Zeiss Planner lens.
